Lip liner

What lip liners are good? I really need one but I don’t know which types are good. Should I get a pencil are not a pencil?

@Aliena474  Here are my favorites, grouped by the different reasons I use a lip liner. I'll list only the products you can still find. (Some of my faves are discontinued, so I'll exclude those.) 

Filling in my lips (as a base color) to tweak or enhance the color of a lipstick: I prefer non-gel pencils for this. 

• NARS Precision Lip Liner 
• MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil Brow, Eye & Lip Liner 906 Endless Plum (can't tag product without picking a specific shade) 
• LH Cosmetics Crayon 
• MAC Lip Pencil 
• Mented Lip Liner 

Stopping lipsticks/glosses from bleeding/feathering (lining my lips with a barrier): gel pencils work best for me. 

• PAT McGRATH LABS Permagel Ultra Lip Pencil 
• SEPHORA COLLECTION Retractable Rouge Gel Lip Liner 

Pairing with a lipstick for ombre or "lip contour" looks: any of the liners listed above. Mented, Pat McGrath, and Sephora have some very good nude shades, if that's what you need.
