Lip balms!

Turns out you need to apply you lip balm 6-8 times per day?? That’s probably why my lips are so dry.. anyone have a good brand or product that I’ll be able to use everyday?

Re: Lip balms!

You’re not absorbing it. Try a scrub twice a week before your sleep mask. Buxom Plumping Polish is my fave gloss for color and benefits. I use Too Faced Maximum Plump lip plumper as a nightly lip mask. Before applying either, I scrub my lips with Grande Buff to maximize benefits. It took me half a year to formulate this combination, because I never bought them all at the same time. You can use lip balm and the Sephora lip tool instead of buying those three.

Re: Lip balms!

@ello123  Try using a sleeping mask like Tatcha. It's more expensive but very moisturizing. Also maybe something in the chapstick or balm is drying

Try Tarte sea balm or Pat McGrath clear balm. Dr Paw Paw and Burts Bees are better drug store brands.

Re: Lip balms!

My favorite lip balms are the Laneige lip masks in all the flavors, especially Gummy 💜 or just regular ol Vaseline.

I find the trick to my lips staying hydrated is drinking water throughout my day and applying my lip care after I wash my face, or have a bath or shower, whenever they just had moisture and use the balm to lock it in 🙂

I hope this helps @ello123

Thank you!

Re: Lip balms!

Thank you! 🫶🏼 I’ll check them out

Re: Lip balms!

Hi @ello123. I found SEPHORA COLLECTION Lip Balm & Scrub to be quite moisturizing (the lip balm of course, not sure why they put them together). I haven’t tried Farmacy Honey Butter Beeswax Lip Balm 0.12 oz/ 3.4 g , personally, but I’ve seen lots of great reviews and suggestions for it here. I also really like Blistex Deep Moisture renewal from the drug store.

Re: Lip balms!

I think I’ll try the Sephora one!
