Yes that's what I do too, put a layer of vasiline on then lipstick, keeps them hydrated and a smooth area to glide on lipstick easier.

vaseline. I wear just vaseline sometimes and get compliments on how pretty my "lipgloss" is. It also matches to any skin tone and I often wear it over lipstick so my lips don't get too chapped. It always looks amazing!!
