How often should I used lip scrub?

Okay, here is something I've always been a little unsure of and have never been able to find a clear answer for: exactly how often should I be using a lip scrub? It always seems to be implied that you're supposed to do it pretty frequently, but I've never seen anything that specifically says "Scrub your lips once a day!" Or something like that. I'm also hesitant because I don't want to overscrub, and I know with the face you're only supposed to exfoliate a couple of times a week, so why would lips be different?

Do you have a favorite scrub, @EllaGator ? How often you can/ should use it depends on the scrub and your lips. I personally use the Fresh Lip Polish and in the How to Use section of the product description it says use 2 to 3 times a week. It has sugar in it so it can be prettyabrasive. I've used it daily for about a week before because my lips were very dry and cracked but I wouldn't recommend it for regular use. However, if you use a milder scrub, you can probably use it more often, if needed. It really depends on you knowing your lip needs. Personally, I use one every other day and it is good for me.

I like to use the lush lip scrubs, which are pretty dry, so I guess maybe 2-3 times a week like with the fresh scrubs would be good.

I've been using the E.L.F. lip scrub in "Mint." It's pleasant, subdued, effective, inexpensive, and highly portable. I'm someone who wears a lot of liquid lipsticks. This lip scrub has been very kind to me. It's very nourishing.

Well I use a a wet face cloth to lightly scrub my lips at night and then apply a deep condition lip balm afterwards, and then I scrub right before I put on my makeup.
