Help! Why are my lips permanently peeling?!

This has been an issue for years. Im not dehydrated and Carmex is one and ONLY thing that makes my lips look decent and doesn't get caking or leave that embarrassing lip crud. So I'm having to constantly keep it on. I think I read that since we don't have pores on our lips that it doesn't produce oil so by using Carmex religiously has caused my lips to become dependent on it? They're just always peeling and I've exfoliated til it's raw cuz that's the only way to get it all off but I think I'm scarring my lips which is making them look worse n more wrinkly and I'm 35 and don't even smoke cigs

Those are some amazing choices @ILOVEMYDOGGO567! I’ve used SEPHORA COLLECTION Clean Lip Balm & Scrub Coconut myself. I’m not the biggest fan of coconut scented anything but it was suuuuper hydrating. (Ironically, I love actual coconut. I could drink coconut water everyday.)

In the future, you can use # to tag specific products. Might be easier than scrolling through the app and taking screen shots if everything. 🙂

@88malpal  I had the same problem a few years ago and I found Tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask  really helped. And I also love LAWLESS Forget the Filler Lip-Plumping Line-Smoothing Tinted Lip Balm Baby Doll  also really moisturizing! And for extra moisture I love the Rhode peptide treatment and Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm Trio

@88malpal @My brother had to stop using Carmex because it was bad for his lips.

What does he switch to? And it just hets worse and worse until I apply it. I'm in need of different products that I can rotate through and have same results I get with CarMex..

@88malpal @He uses Vaseline or aquaphor and his lips got better. There was something in carmex that irritated him.
