Re: Burnt my lip

Hi @ken2  - I'm not sure if you mean you burned your actual lip, or your skin around the lip. Usually our lips will self-repair, in my experience, but keep in mind that I'm talking about "pizza was too hot," not "caught in a terrible fire". For your lip, you could try a lip balm to help it stay hydrated while it mends, assuming that the burn itself is now healed enough to be closed. You could also try (gently!) a lip scrub to encourage cell turnover, for faster regeneration of the tissue and fading of the burn mark.

If you mean your actual skin, again, I trust that the burn is healed over, as you shouldn't put anything on it while it's still open, just leave it iexposed. There are a number of products intended to fade dark marks, but the only one I've used and can comfortably recommend is Murad InvisiScar Post-Acne Resurfacing Treatment . Keep in mind that nothing will work overnight. You'll need to use the product consistently over a period of weeks.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
