Brown Lipstick??

I really need some help finding a brown lipstick. A lot of companies make light browns but I feel like they make my lips look ashy (I have a medium-tan skin tone). I need some suggestions for some true brown lipsticks, most of what I can find are too red.

What about NARS Velvet Lip Glide in Area; or  Dose of Colors Liquid Lipstick in Chocolate Wasted; or NYX Liquid Suede lipstick in Downtown Beauty?

Colourpop has a beautiful chocolate matte lippie named limbo. Its a very flattering true dark brown chocolate.

I've got one from Smashbox that I love. It's a deep rich chocolate brown. It's pretty dark though even on me and I'm quite a bit darker than you. It's a liquid lipstick so I'm not sure if you're looking for that kind of formula or the standard lipstick. 

I would check out UD as the commenter suggested. They have a wide variety of colors. Nars might have something too either in liquid lipstick form or standard lipstick formula. Kat Von D may have something as well though I think they may be in the same chocolate shade range as the Smashbox one.
