Bite Beauty Lip Lab - opinions?

Hi,

Just checking if anyone has experience with doing custom lipstick in Bite Beauty lip lab? Did you like it? Were you able to get the color made that you wanted? I have naturally dark lips and struggle to find prefect nude and a color with right balance of brown and rose and want to try this out?

Also - How is the formula? Long lasting? Hydrating?

Any discount codes for first time trial?

It's been a long time since I went (2018), but it was such a fun experience! I do agree it's a bit pricey - but the experience has stuck with me all these years, and I think if you're a big makeup fan then it's worth it. When I went, there was only one other person there at the same time, and the employee did many revisions for me to get the "perfect" shades.

@naturalooks15 I went to a Lib Lab with my bestie in 2020.  We had an appointment at 10am and were paired with 2 other people.  We got to spend over a hour with the person custom mixing the lippies.  We did have reservations at the Hello Kitty Cafe and couldn't stay longer.

My bestie and I thought it was really fun but it is pricey.  I had 2 colors I had in mind a red orange and a nude lippie.  If you don't like how it is mixed the first time you can keep asking them to mix it till you like it.  Plus they let you try it on to see if you like it before they move on.

The lippie formula I got was the amuse bouche one.  We got to pick from 4 scents and from different finishes.  I chose satin and sheer and engraved our lip cases.  I didn't find it too hydrating and wear them with a lip balm underneath.

There is a discount code that we used.  You can check their website but we still paid over $100 each for 2 lipsticks being made.

Thanks @SportyGirly125  This is super helpful. that is pricey after the discount almost $50 per lipstick after discount.  Sounds like a fun experience though probably worth it for special occasion maybe. I will look for the code. 

I have a shade that is close to what I wasn't but not quite so maybe I will take that in case it helps them to see it.

@naturalooks15 I showed them the lip colors I wanted.  They were both MAC lippies that were discontinued.  It definitely helps them to see it so they can get as close as possible to it.

@naturalooks15 Glad I could help.  It was a fun thing we wanted to try at least once because of the price.  My bestie loved the lippies she got and chose.
