Best matte lippies?

In need of suggestions for the best matte lipsticks that don’t crack, crust up, or absolutely dry your lips☺️💕

Most matte lippies will dry you out and I love love love matte lipsticks so my remedy is using Farmacy Honey lip balm or fresh advance lip therapy or MAC lip conditioner pat or blot the excess with a tissue and then apply the matte lipstick. Your lips should feel comfortable and your lipstick still looks matte. Disclaimer: this is what works me.

I was recently wowed by NARS - Powermatte Lip Pigment ... amazing formula for a matte liquid lipstick.  it's thin but goes on opaque without streaking, feels very lightweight while on, and on me lasted for without misbehaving at all.  no cracking, peeling, or migrating past lip lines.  best of all, the next day my lips were not dry and peeling, which happens with many lip products for me.  I had tried a couple of samples that were lying around in my drawer and liked it so much I went out and bought two full size ones.

currently trying out and liking HUDA BEAUTY - Power Bullet Matte Lipstick, feels feathery and smooth with the right amount of slip, and kind of floats on top of my lip rather than sinking into and emphasizing lip lines.

also love PAT McGRATH LABS MatteTrance™ Lipstick Flesh 3 109.  I have 3 LuxeTrance ones and the formula is just gorgeous.  Feels more like a traditional lipstick bullet than the others, but goes on especially rich and creamy and causes no peeling or drying which most bullet lipsticks do on me.

@Kim888  Can you believe I’ve yet to try this out? How would you say it performs in terms of longevity? Do you find yourself reapplying this every so hours or does it stay put all day?

@gonerogue Ooh you definitely need to try one! I feel like as bullet mattes go it performs pretty well - it's not as long as a liquid lip but also not as drying and applies fairly evenly. I would say I generally need to reapply after eating but I'm usually okay just drinking coffee or something. It's not totally transfer proof

I didn’t like this formula very much sadly. I picked up Pillow Talk and it just didn’t live up to my expectations. I love almost everything CT but the puppies disappointed me.

I completely swear by ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS - Matte Lipstick. I wear the shade Spice almost every day. Also just picked up a couple HUDA BEAUTY - Power Bullet Matte Lipstick and they wear extremely comfortably as well! 🙂

I love the SEPHORA COLLECTION - Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick, and the SMASHBOX - Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick. They feel great on the lips and have a great shade of colors!
