Are lip brushes really worth it?

Hey everyone, I was just curious if lip brushes are really worth it? I’m typically a bullet lipstick wearer and liquid lipstick. After years of wearing the lipstick I really don’t struggle with precision or smearing. I also use high quality products that I can wear for over 4 or 5 hours without retouching (mainly caused by eating). I know one of my fav brands sell them but I’ve never used one. Thoughts? Your experiences?

I sometimes use a lip brush. Easier to control the amount of color or to add a bit of another color. The formulation can be easier with a brush as well. Some of mine are hard to remove without remover, a brush helps alleviate that issue. Not so much about precision, but how you wear it.

Thanks!

I say no, they're not worth it.  I have a lip brush that I hardly ever use, because I found that all it really does is make it take longer to apply lipstick.

Yeah it seems like from what I read and what you stated that it’s just time consuming and unnecessary. I can see maybe why pro makeup artists would use them but I think most experienced women don’t need a lip brush to apply lipstick. They also say you can scrape out lipstick from the tube when it gets low but honestly most of my lip products will definitely last at least a month if I use it every single day. So I don’t mind opening up a new one and don’t see the need for scraping out product from the bottom.
