Oil Cleansers Breaking Me Out?

Hi! So I added an oil cleanser ( Anua heartleaf oil cleanser) to my routine about 2 weeks ago and my skin has been doing horribly. I’ve been getting tiny red bumps all along my cheeks and forehead. Google tells me that my skin is purging but there isn’t anything in my oil cleanser to make my skin purge. What should I do? pls help!!

Yeah, there's no purge with oil cleansers, @LilyCarpentier. It could be a simple negative reaction to the cleanser itself. Are you following it up with a water-based cleanser? Are you massaging the oil for longer than a minute or so?

@LilyCarpentier have you tried a different oil cleanser?  Maybe it’s something with the ingredients.

I’ve switched to the beauty of joseon balm cleanser and I can already see a difference in my skin!
