Glass Skin

Hey! 22 y/o here with normal-combo skin type, usually only deal with blackheads and hormonal acne. I have a very basic skin care routine consisting of Cetaphil cleanser, The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum with Ceramides  and The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Oil Control Serum , and daily SPF moisturizer. Iโ€™m looking for skincare products that help create that โ€œglass skinโ€ effect...?

Re: Glass Skin

Glass skin comes from a lot of hydration. The products that give me the most glass-like skin are: I'm From Rice Toner, Krave beauty Great Barrier Relief, iunik Propolis serum, I'm from Rice cream. Some non K-beauty honorable mentions that also give glassy, glowy skin are all the Glow Recipe products (and I have used them all), Farmacy Honey Halo, any Fourth Ray Beauty face milk (my favorites are Papaya & White Tea), Innisfree dewy glow jelly cream, Saturday skin waterfall glacier water cream. These are just some options, both affordable and high-end. Sheet masks help with glowing skin too.

Re: Glass Skin

Itโ€™s all about layering when it comes to having gloss skin. You start with a toner, nothing to Harsh. โ€œSome By Meโ€ has a good one for your acne skin. Then you use a serum(lots out there so do research), then essence(cosrx), then moisturiser. Follow up with your SPF or sleeping mask depends on the time of the day.

Re: Glass Skin

In Korean skincare itโ€™s the essences that give the glass skin effect however Iโ€™m not sure I noticed a difference like I did with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner 8 oz/ 240 mL  , definitely a little harsh at first, you may even purge but now it does wonders for me. Helps get rid of texture. You can even start with lactic acid/AHA and work your way up. And then a vitamin c during the day under my spf brings a home run! Be sure to not mix your acids with niacinamide as you can lessen the effects of both
