Substituted samples

I made a large purchase at Kohl’s last year and got 350 beauty points. I just made my first purchase through Sephora directly so I could get free samples and was so excited for the samples that I chose. My order showed that they were all there in the shipping information. I waited anxiously and excitedly. When I opened my package, the samples that I chose were substituted with samples that I will never use. It was so disappointing and it actually made me angry since the samples were the reason why I made the purchase directly through Sephora over purchasing at Kohl’s. Now I feel like it was a wasted purchase and that I should have purchased through Kohl’s so I could build my rewards points. Do better, Sephora, because I am an unhappy customer. Not a great way to start out shopping with you.

Note: Samples are subject to stock availability.

If there is a sample you are particularly interested in, then go in store and ask the staff to make a sample for you.

Yea just one thing, they don’t make perfume samples which are the ones I’m usually excited for and most of the time I never get them ..
