Samples at a sephora store

Hi I was wondering if you can bring your own mini containers for samples at a sephora store. And if you can put together your own samples in store

@BeautybyvannahI am certain that you could not do that.  I think that even when you are a nice person when you're thinking about things from a store's perspective you have to think about the fact that there are many people who might try and take advantage of certain things so you store policies have to kind of take that into account.   So let's say they allowed that - I'm sure that you would be very polite about it and take sample amounts in a sanitary way but if Sephora were to allow that now they would have to define "small" - you know that there are people who would come and start transferring the products from testers to their own containers and if you think of something like an $80 Tom Ford cream eye-shadow for which the store only has ONE tester because that would normally be plenty but technically the whole cream eye-shadow could be transferred into a "small" container and the brands don't give stores endless numbers of testers. 

I can't speak for Sephora but I can't imagine that a store would allow something that could potentially turn into a free-for-all and a massive headache.  You can just ask the Sephora employees for a sample of anything you like though and they have their own little containers.  I know it's a bit embarrassing to ask sometimes but I think most people are happy to make you a sample of a product you want to try.

I don't think so, you can ask for samples and the will give you a sample of skincare, makeup/foundation or whatever can be poured into the little containers they have specifically destined for samples.
