Re: Rosacea

I've tried some expensive foundations but none that I liked. I keep coming back to MACs Studio Sculpt (which many seem to hate, but I love it..), and right now I'm surprised by how much I'm loving these drugstore products: Revlon Colorstay foundation for normal/dry skin (medium coverage, buildable), and Maybelline Fit Me concealer. I'm not mad at the fact that cheaper products are working best for me 😛

Re: Rosacea

Finding makeup that covers my rosacea *without* exacerbating it has been the real struggle. My hands-down favorite combination: MUFE Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation, NARS Radiant Creamy or Too Faced Born This Way concealer (the former for lighter coverage, the latter for full coverage), Hourglass Veil powder. I have subtype 1 rosacea, so I'm not looking for full matte coverage; this hides the redness but provides a very natural finish. I'm on the hunt for a photo so you can see how it looks.

RE: Re: Rosacea

@Lizett13 Here we go! This is my face with the MUFE foundation, NARS concealer, and Hourglass powder. My trouble spots are the apples of my cheeks and in between my eyebrows; the redness is covered, but it doesn't look like I'm wearing a mask of makeup. Again, this is the finish that I prefer, so if you're looking for fuller coverage or a matte finish these might not be the products you want. Good luck!

Re: Rosacea

I have tried just about every foundation there is for my skin, which is red from rosacea as well as dry in beginning to oily later on. My best so far has been Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I work 12 hour shifts overnight and I literally get told by coworkers my makeup looks the same as when I came in. Also, you see NO redness. People I work with have no idea I have rosacea. I set it with Too Faced Peaches & Cream powder.

Rosacea

I highly recommend It Cosmetics bye bye redness, it is amazing! Just don't over apply, very small amount, dot it on with your fingers and blend out with beauty blender, amazing results!

Re: Rosacea

@Lizett13 IT Cosmetics founder has rosacea and their products cover well. Green and yellow tone down red. Primers to moisturizers come in those colors, and look fine under foundation that's not heavy full coverage.

RE: Rosacea

I don’t have rosacea myself but I have seen a lot of youtubers recommend dr jart cicarepair to cover red spots.
