Rewards Program is a massive joke!

Within milliseconds of 12:00 est the 1000 + point rewards are sold out! I swear, I feel like my chances of winning the lottery are greater. Get it together Sephora. I’m about to permanently jump ship to Ulta.

Thank you.  Same problem here.  Tried to shop for one item and had to enter password 4 times but still online would not accept it.  Website kept asking to select free items and use points but then kept asking for password.  Entered cc number # but kept asking for password another 3 times.  Total waste of time.  Emptied cart and logged off.  Sent email and will probably receive their form email ... we are sorry blah, blah blah.

RE: Rewards Program is a massive joke!

I AGREE!! Biggest sham like don’t even bother posting anything If you only have small quantities of things people want

Re: Rewards Program is a massive joke!

I am on the SAME page as you. I cannot jump ship to Ulta lol because I am in Canada...but we got a Shoppers Drug Mart which has some brands and for a lower price than Sephora.

But it gets sold for sure before it even hits 9am.  I was told by customer service that they are just sorry and that if I wanted the rewards to contact them few mins before to get it through them.  Like what about the people that work or go to school etc? We aren't online constantly to get these rewards nor can we just call Sephora to do this.

I feel like Sephora these days does not care about customers and just apologize and take the "feedback" but don't actually consider the feedback when so many people are complaining.

Even in store when I go, which is not often since the store is 3 hours away in the City, they NEVER have 100 Point Rewards ever. And they always give me issues about getting samples and just give me looks bc i'm not wearing ENOUGH makeup or that I am not good enough to be in store.

RE: Re: Rewards Program is a massive joke!

Yeah I totally agree. I feel like shoppers is an even better option when just you look at their points system. Spend your points on whatever makeup you want whenever. Don’t have to wait for the stupid sales every so often with sephora and even then it’s barely worth the savings. With shoppers you better samples and free gifts often, and I have noticed the prices like one girl said! The loyalty program at Sephora is such a joke. I wish Canada had ulta, I know we can order online but I just never want to lol

Re: Rewards Program is a massive joke!

@LillieLR I feel you! If its any consolation I work from home so I literally sat here refreshing the page over and over to try to land a Nars perk. They legit showed up as SOLD OUT without ever going live. I tried to scoop the benefit cosmetics duffel perk but that got snatched out of my bag at checkout.

So angry. I am with you about moving to Shoppers drug mart permanently. They have a good selection and always load me up with so many samples (and the special offers actually stack so you can sometimes get multiple perks on one cart unlike Sephora)

Shoppers actually has a charity gala event this weekend and I have a ticket for it. Proceeds go to a women's charity (when is the last time you saw Sephora do anything charitable?) and they also give out free makeovers and lots of samples for free.

I don't work for them or anything but thing is....if Sephora doesn't up their game for Canadians I have no problem taking my business to other shops that actually reward me for shopping. I don't need to gamble to be rewarded. šŸ™‚

Re: Rewards Program is a massive joke!

OMG yes i know....I saw that ad in the flyer for Shoppers last night lol...

Did you notice Shoppers prices are a bit lower in price for some of the brands like Urban Decay...Estee Lauder...the new UD Stay Naked Weightless Foundation that just came out is $53 at Sephora...and in Shoppers its $50! and their palettes are a little bit cheaper and had no idea until recently.  and now shoppers online has lorac products too which i was shocked to see....i feel like shoppers in store and online is going to be my go-to. and my husband agrees too. he's like u have all these points and cant even redeem for good things...and at shoppers u can...

Re: Rewards Program is a massive joke!

Totally! And someone else on here posted they got a bunch of new brands this week like Winky Lux and some other more high end ones. Hopefully I can score some good deals tomorrow at the gala! If I do I might have to post on these forums šŸ™‚

Re: Rewards Program is a massive joke!

Shoppers Drug Mart online now has Too Faced! I'm in debate now between the Too Faced Extra Gingerbread Palette or the UD Naked Cherry.

Have you tried either of those?
