Re: Plus Size Makeup Hacks?

play around and experiment with what you like and what looks best  with your colouring and features.  the contouring classes or custom makeovers below are a great idea.  i find for myself i have to be careful with how i apply blush - wrong placement or colouring definitely accentuates things i don't want accentuated!

@Anonymous The most flattering "trick" is to evaluate your natural coloring (orhave it professionally done) and then choose makeup colors that work for you. This is that thing where people talk about how they're a "winter" or "autumn" or warm or cool tone (Like, I'm a "bright spring" so I look best when I have a lot of contrast in my makeup, and wearing browns or muted colors makes me look tired or ill). The right colors on you will look fresh and lively, which is what the fun of makeup really is!

@Anonymous Have you watched any YouTube videos on contouring? I think everyone, if they have time/patience/ability can benefit from contouring!

Agreed! I have a pretty round face too and I've recently started contouring. It takes practice but it helps. YouTube is a great place to start! Also if you want to get some one on one tips for you, Sephora custom makeovers are a good option. Thanks cast members can walk you through it.

@Anonymous In addition, check your local Sephora for the contouring class. I have a very round face too, and the contouring class helped me quite a bit with the ideas behind contouring and using powders vs creams, etc. I would highly recommend it.
