Giftcard Issue

I’ve been a Sephora member for 9+ years, and this is the first time I’ve had to contact customer service—unfortunately, it’s been a nightmare.

I used a gift card through the app, but when I went to use it again, the card information had been deleted by the app. App support couldn’t help and referred me to gift card support, who confirmed the card was active and told me to contact Sephora customer service to use it. Customer service then advised me to visit a store, saying they would swap the card.

At the store, I was told they couldn’t help and that online support needed to generate an e-gift card instead. I contacted customer service again, only to be told—once more—they couldn’t do anything.

I felt completely misled and bounced around with no resolution. I’m sharing this here for support, any resolutions and to express how disappointing this experience has been.
