Expiration date

I've been using Fresh's rose deep hydration cream since last year. It is sooo good in every aspects. So I recently bought another one during spring sale. But this one, as soon as I apply it on my face, I had a burning sensation. I tried the same cream that was previously open but didn't get the same problem. So I tried to look for expiration date on the bottle and its box, but could not find it. Usually, especially when it comes to skincare products, there must be an expiration date written on. Is there any way that I can find the expiration date of this product?

Re: Expiration date

@chuuuuup

Expiration dates are only required for OTC meds (something like an acne treatment) and sunscreen; they aren't required for anything else.

There should be a lot code on the package somewhere; try entering it at checkcosmetic dot net to see when the cream was made. The general rule of thumb for longevity in skincare is 3 years from date of manufacture (as long as it's unopened).

The other possibility is that Fresh reformulated since you last bought it and something in the new one just doesn't agree with you.

Re: Expiration date

@chuuuuup @I have the old one before they changed it and it’s good for 12 months after being opened.  Look at the symbol where it says 12M on the lower right hand corner.
