Cosmetics buying in the Bahamas

This June I will be going on a Disney cruise to the Bahamas. I have read that there are some cosmetics stores that sell makeup a lot cheaper then in the US. Does anyone know if this is true? Any advice on what to look for or check out while I am there? Thanks

I haven't been in several years, but I remember two stores that had a large selection and were duty-free: The Beauty Spot (in Nassau) and the Cosmetics Boutique (also in Nassau). They both carried so-called higher-end lines, like Chanel, Givenchy, etc., but there was some MAC, Clinique, etc.  too. There was also a couple of perfumeries but that's not my thing so I didn't go in. HTH! 

Don't forget the SPF. 😘

Thanks for the info. We're the prices really any cheaper then what we pay here?

Yes, they were noticeably cheaper but it wasn't a fire sale or anything. They had some sets that weren't Stateside, too. Those were more interesting. I'd say it is more or less like a VIB 15% off sale.
