Did anyone manage to use this code since it was promoted? I’ve been trying almost every day but no luck here - I had thought that it may have been released early but maybe we just never got it at all in Canada?

3am ET and tryretinol still no working. It's showing on the mobile app too. I might send an email to sephora cs saying how their promos aren't live even though they are promoting it.

I will send one too. The casual customers are going to try the code, see OOS and never try again, and it will be costing Sephora sales. They should get on this for more reasons than just because it is annoying and poor customer service.

It was never live, or wasn't intended for Canadians to use. Whoever is handling their promo codes is dropping the ball. 

My response from cs was to call them.. helpful guys.

Here is the reply I received:

"My apologies that you are having difficulties with the TRYRETINOL and RENTRIO promotional codes.

After reviewing your account, I see that TRYRETINOL is currently out of stock, my apologies it was a limited stock and sold out quickly."

They offered to send me the RENTRIO items with my next order, but completely missed the point of my email - the codes are being advertised before they are working.

If the code is never live in the first place, how can it "sell out quickly"?

I received another reply from a different customer service representative:

"I have researched the promotion TRYRETINOL and this promotion is currently active and available on Sephora.com. Please ensure you are meeting the subtotal amount of $25 and that you are entering the promotional code without any spaces. Keep in mind with some promotional communications sent there may be a specific start date for the promotion that may be effective days after the e-mail is sent."

I tried TRYRETINOL on two different browsers, and in the app, and it is not active on any of them. Is it working for any of you?

@FadeNolan I think the person that answered you doesn't seem to realize it's not active in Canada since their reply mentions .com

I just tried it as well and it doesn't come up for me either.

I'm starting to wonder if the promos that show up in the app (where I took the screenshot to begin with) are only tied in to the US side

I think the code might have just been released early. I would try again later. They have been pretty good with the GWP this past week with the items being in stock for more then a day, I checked this code as soo. As I got the message and it’s OOS, so I think it’s not active for Canadians yet.

@Jennakitten hasn't worked for me yet, and I've been trying constantly (like every 30 min) throughout the day. it's possible I missed it but seems unlikely.

Probably already all gone so couldn't be offered, someone in the U.S. thead said they ordered 7 times just for the Sunday Riley sample..... no wonder promos sell out in less than 1 day

I tried the Kate Somerville and love it so much, so I’m glad Canadians have Kate Somerville sample. 🙂 just hoping the code will work soon.

I know! At first I was like, that's annoying, especially because we just had the foil challenge promo with the Kate Summerville product a little while ago. But then I was thinking when I used that one I had to use it sparingly, so an 8 mL sample could last a while and it's valued at like +$30, so I'm definitely going to get that one.
