mid-40s new to make up, need help!

I'm 44 years old and am just now starting to wear makeup for the first time in my life. I would love advice for clean makeup that's easy to use and fairly low maintenance. I just got the ciele tint & PROTECT medium coverage serum foundation with SPF 50+ 02 | Fair  and I like it. I would like to experiment with eye makeup but would like clean looks.

I have combination, sensitive skin with some hormonal acne.

thanks for the help!

Hello there, I would recommend Saie and rare beauty for you. I used to work at a Sephora and I have a similar skin type and use similar products so for eyeshadow tart and Too faced!😁

Hi there! You can never go wrong with Merit, Westman Atelier, Haus Labs, IILIA, & Saie, when it comes to clean beauty.

thank you! What about Nude Sticks? I keep seeing that pop up as an eyeshadow option. I'm not sure what the real difference in a stick vs. pallet/compact version of eyeshadow and how that works. I've literally never worn eyeshadow. 🤦😬🤣

@poptrash36  Merit & Ilia are my 2 favorite clean makeup brands. The ILIA Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara After Midnight  is a great mascara. I haven’t tried very many clean eyeshadows but the Westman Atelier Eye Pods Cream Eye Shadow  are really good.

thank you for the specific eye makeup recommendations!

some brands that i most definitely recommend when it comes to clean beauty are kosas, glossier, and milk. the kosas foundation, milk primer, blush and bronzer sticks are all my favorite. i would like to point out that a lot of these products are in stick form and often give the “dewy” appearance so maybe that is something to keep in mind when deciding the look you want to go for. if you like a clean/dewy/natural look the. i’d strongly recommend checking out these brands. :))

Kosas Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation SPF25 with Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide Very Light Neutral 110

MILK MAKEUP Dewy Cream Highlighter Stick Flash

MILK MAKEUP Lip + Cheek Non-Comedogenic Cream Blush Stick Muse

MILK MAKEUP Hydro Grip Primer + Dewy Setting Spray Makeup Set
