Thoughts on 1k points for $25 VIB Rouge.

There used to be a 2500 points for $100 voucher, now it’s 1000 points for $25. Rouge ladies , what do you think about this change ? Personally I don’t like it, had to spend 4K points for $100, after all the purchases I’m dissatisfied:( Any recommendations to sephora ??

Truth the whole 2500 for $100 seems cruddy seeing as you can’t even use it with the sales. They’re a multi million dollar company and we can’t even get stackable savings. This NEEDS to change, Sephora!

The $25 for 1000 points is such a rip off. I have been trying to get the $100 one for a couple of weeks now. I’ve had it IN MY CART, but once in the app it froze and I lost the voucher, and then the next time I had it in my cart on the computer, but then the website had me re-login, and then it was gone. I spend thousands a year, and this reward system is a joke. I’ve actually been looking at Shoppers Drug Mart (Canada) as they’re adding a lot of the same brands, and the point system is so much better.

Don’t get me started. They do have the 100 dollar bonus BUT there are only a few and you have to get on them fast or poof gone. If you spend enough money to qualify you are working and don’t have time to act like a teenager looking for K-pop tickets. Off topic I am also not pleased that The samples are so janky. My daughter had to have the tacha web exclusive bento box which was 360. 00 ... and she wasn’t even into the samples we could of picked cause they are so overdone. Spent 300 online at Nordstrom and didn’t even click a sample and got a lovely bag filled with stuff. But what can you do ? I would totally ditch Sephora but you can’t cause of exclusives and I’m already rouge till the end of 2020. But they should treat customers who spend that much money better.

i only got up to vib until i starting watching some people on youtube make comparisons to the change in points system that sephora made and whether it was worth it anymore. I just used up whatever points i had and i think im moving onto Ulta. It sucks bc i didnt want to but the rewards and discounts are much better. if they were to bring it back the rewards system that allowed you to receive the $100 gift card for 2500 points a lot more people would stay loyal

Interesting, I never though of Ulta point system, well I do agree about Sephora points changes really don’t give much to the ROUGE vip kind a feel or more bank for you money. Especially when you have to save your points , I did and it was all for nothing great, and on top of that you have to spend the $25 voucher per transaction, so like o can’t even buy something that really matters to me spend 1k for $25.

The $100 reward is still available, it’s just in limited quantities and doesn’t drop at exactly 9am pst. Check a few mins before/after.

I’m super disappointed. I had just banked 2,500 points because I was saving for the $100. I’m frustrated that the rewards cost so many more points now.

It doesn’t. The 2500 points for $100 reward still exists. They’re just hard to get because there’s only a few available every time.

I was too , I saved them all for the nov discount and the holiday previews and now my points devalued!! Really not fair Sephora !

@MonicaGL You can’t combine promos, so even if you obtained one, it’s a promo code. You either use the promo code for the discount or the promo code for the gift card reward
