I was having problems making the purchase on safari too. Ended up doing it on the app. 

Maybe try calling the rouge line and see if they can apply the code to your purchase?

I ended up finally ordering the Rouge Louboutin red nail polish. I still don't really think of Louboutin as a beauty brand, but I did want to finally try it.

edit: customer service made a note on my account and said they would apply it when I am able to buy it since it is out of stock.

It's coming back in the fall right? Make sure they don't have an expiry, or maybe redeem it on any purchase before then to make sure you get to use it! If it's in your account, I doubt it'll be a problem though. That's pretty good restraint not to use it right away.
