Derek Lam 10 Crosby’s Something Wild perfume is very smoky, woodsy, and has plenty of deep vanilla notes.
I would look at Serge Lutens 'Un Bois Vanille'. It is a pure high end vanilla scent.
@bloemermama I like
ATELIER COLOGNE - Vanille Insensée Cologne Absolue Pure Perfume that I would actually call "Vanilla by the Sea", since to my nose there's almost a smoky/saltiness to it. To me this isn't a food/dessert vanilla scent and it's easily unisex.
and
Aerin Tangier Vanille which is more woody/foody and a comforting scent.
Both elegant fragrances 🙂
yes, it is 'smoky', and very strong - just open it and you can smell it across the whole room, lol.
@Cyncynn "Vanilla by the Sea" is the perfect description for that fragrance. There definitely is a saltiness to it that sets it apart from the very sweet vanilla fragrances. I love it!
My husband has become allergic to most fragrances so I don’t wear fragrances any longer. I wear JOSIE MARAN - Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter.
The Vanilla Bean scent reminds me of a vanilla ice cream. Hope this helps @bloemermama.
Hi @bloemermama !
I also love vanilla fragrances, and @pocketvenus listed some favourites of mine! I,d definitely second her suggestions for Vanille Fatale, Shalimar, and Eau Duelle as those are 3 of my favourites.
I also love The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods Eau de Parfum 1.7 oz/ 50 mL Eau de Parfum Spray
I'm obsessed with Vanilla Woods! I'm not normally a vanilla person for perfumes, but it's SO GOOD!
@bloemermama Have you tried TOM FORD - Vanille Fatale or ATELIER COLOGNE - Vanille Insensée Cologne Absolue Per PerfumeTravel Spray?
I would get samples if you haven't 🙂
@suzyo @Anonymous I second the Atelier! I LOVE vanille incensee. It’s a more sophisticated and complex vanilla scent. I always get compliments on it!
I'm vanilla obsessed too! Every time I like a fragrance, its because my nose detected vanilla lol Check out DKNY Pure in Vanilla and Lavanila's Pure Vanilla, I have them both and they're heavenly 😄
You're welcome 😄
@Anonymous IDK if this is up your alley, but Lush has a perfume "Vanillary" that is very heavy on vanilla. To me, it smells like vanilla extract.

you could also just use vanilla extract? lol. I mean, it has alcohol in it...so I guess it's kind of like perfume? lol
