What’s your go-to genderless perfume?

I love perfumes but I just hate wearing the typical « girly » stuff… 

I feel in love with TOM FORD Noir Extreme Parfum Fragrance with Sandalwood & Saffron #. I love the deeper warmer side of it and all the sexy strong and powerful feelings I get when I smell it.
I’m wondering which one I should try next?!

* I dislike all alcool related smells ie: whisky

* don’t really like all those powdery smells or overly sweet or overly fruity/flowery

* I’m a woman with a strong personality that can wear something bold and assume it 😉

@Marie1992 Try the Nue Co.'s Forest Lungs. Very woody, leans masculine but unisex. Not strong like Noir Extreme but very effervescent.

I absolutely LOVE Azzaro! I steal it from my son after he goes to school lol!  It smells so good and lasts forever! I always get compliments when I wear it. I highly recommend!

You might do well exploring woody scents, leathers, aromatics and greens, although the feminine greens may not be to your taste. If you don't mind leaning masculine, try fougeres. For very strong scents, consider less westernized ouds.

For woods, Comme des Garcons.

Quite a few leathers can be bold. They can go in many directions from sort of gasoline-y and blond like Knize Ten, super smoky like Papillon's Anubis, very polished "purse" leather like Dusita's Sillage Blanc and so on. A genre worth exploring.

Aromatics and fougeres often have notes like lavender and herbs. A great start to this genre is Penhaligon's Sartorial.

If you're new to ouds, I'd start with westernized versions like ones from Tom Ford, Kilian and then work your way out. The really strong stuff can smell very challenging. Think blue cheese or uh, "natural" fertilizer.

Fragrances are so personal and gendering scents is also tricky, but have you tried:

TOM FORD Ombré Leather Parfum Fragrance with Amber & Jasmine Flower or DIOR Sauvage Elixir ? Maybe TOM FORD Tobacco Vanille Eau de Parfum Fragrance with Tonka Bean & Ginger ?

CHANEL COCO NOIR 1.7 oz is also a warm and sexy perfume though a touch feminine.
