I have finally found a vanilla fragrance worth purchasing full bottle:  Escapade Gourmande by Maison Mataha. 

It smells like vanilla and warm crème brûlée.  It doesn’t have any floral, smoky, or woody elements. It’s a wearable, edible gourmand fragrance!

Honestly, there are so many fragrances out there with vanilla. So many different vibes of vanilla depending on the occasion. Me personally, when I want to just smell like pure sultry vanilla, I always choose Kay Ali Vanilla 28. She’s always a vibe.

@missaa8 Nest Madagascar Vanilla perfume oil is quite pretty. Nest Balinese Coconut perfume oil has quite a bit of vanilla to it. Possibly more than the coconut aspect I think.  Lancome La Vie est Belle is considered a vanilla gourmand. Vanilla Milk is a twist on vanilla. I had to understand it to appreciate it but now that I do I actually enjoy it.

Oh, wow! I heard it was like the outback up there in Canada,  @Westcoasty ... do retailers respond well to their consumer requests?

@missaa8   LOL. No, it's not at all like the outback! The reason Sephora Canada carries fewer items is that Canada doesn't have the same population base as the States. Canada has roughly, what, 1/10 the population of the States? So Sephora Canada carries a smaller inventory to match. It's strictly good business practice...no point in carrying hundreds of thousands of dollars of unsold inventory that isn't likely to sell.

I think that it would be possible for me to order some items from Sephora USA if I really felt the need, but honestly, I have so many items on my Loves list that I'm not going to run out of fun things to buy any time soon. 😊

I'm such a newbie to all of this, @Titian06 ... they have different versions for fragrances?

@missaa8 - If you go to the main Sephora site to the Brands menu, look under S for Sephora.  You'll see Sephora Collection and Sephora Favorites.  Sephora Favorites are different types of themed sets:  perfumes, hair, luxe, etc.  I purchased a Sephora Favorites of vanilla samples last year(?).  Skylar was in it, but the current set does not contain any other dupes from last year's set.

Hi, @missaa8 !  Most vanilla scents are migraine triggers for me.  Here are two I wear that don't cause migraines and smell nice:

- Juliette Has a Gun Vanilla Vibes Travel Spray 0.25oz/7.5mL

@missaa8 for a very pure vanilla, Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensée Pure Perfume Travel Spray 0.34 oz/ 10 mL Pure Perfume Spray is one that I used to wear.
