Summer Scents

Does anyone know of some nice beachy fragrances that don't smell too much like sunscreen? I have tried Replica's Beach Walk, and I am not fond of it.

It really depends on the type of scents you like and dislike. Can you share a bit more about what you're looking for in a summer fragrance? And what you disliked about Replica's Beach Walk? That could help us tailor more specific recommendations for your tastes. 

I can suggest a few that I personally love to wear in the summer when it's hot and humid:

• Guerlain Terracotta 
• Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess (*Note: this scent used to only be available yearly in the summer and would often sell out. And they would at times tweak the fragrance notes slightly. So my bottle is one of the older versions. I haven't tried the current permanent Eau Fraiche Skinscent. I also prefer the Eau Fraiche to the Eau de Parfum, but YMMV. Just note that the Eau Fraiche and the EdP are not the same scents. The shimmering oil is quite nice, too.)
• Mugler Alien Eau Extraordinaire
• Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey

I am just getting into fragrances, so I am not the best when it comes to notes. My favorite is Givenchy eaudmoiselle Romantic which is very dark and sexy, but I want something uplifting for summer. I love coconut, but I don't love the sunscreen scent. I was looking at Guerlain Terracotta last night and was really thinking about getting it.
