Possible New Signature Fragrance

Hi All. I’m EXTREMELY picky on my perfume but wear it daily or feel naked. My current signature fragrance is becoming harder to find as I’m sure they’re phasing it out. lol. I get stuck on one, I’m loyal for YEARS. Anyway, my everyday scent is Bvlgari’s Jasmine Noir. Not your typical “female” scent, and definitely not one most would wear everyday, or daytime at all. Very sultry and sexy, and that’s what I like.

I go into the department stores and they take me straight to the florals, “clean” scents, citrus scents, blah blah. HATE them all . And I’m willing to pay, it’s not that, just has to fit.

I do like some of the Tom Ford “unisex” scents but for me personally, all a bit too masculine to suit me. LOVE them on my man though- especially Ombré Leather. Lord help me!! Lol

Any suggestions anyone?

You may wish to sample Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Fenty Eau de Parfum Perfume Set  and the Narcotics line at Kilian - if they're those are too sweet or you're looking for something more unique, I would then suggest

Jasmine

  • Serge Luten's Sarassins. Dark and leathery jasmine. Truly a beautiful scent, challenging. Also consider Etat Libre's Jasmin et Cigarette, smoky ashtray jasmine, very modern, surprizingly easy to wear.
  • Dusita - these run a bit femme and are pretty without being insipid. Easier ones might be Fleur de Lalita, a jasmine forward white floral. But there are more challenging ones like Le Sillage Blanc, a personal favourite and a cleaner, more modern nod to Puiget's Bandit.
  • Frederic Malle - leaning in the direction of white floral, Carnal Flower is a benchmark tuberose. Une Fleur de Cassie is gorgeous and lush but it's hard to pull off as it's very retro. I personally enjoy it a lot.
  • Libertine - Sex and Jasmine, a little coy, total sex kitten vibes. One of my favourite jasmines.
  • OK, not a jasmine but Hermes' Gallop is a stunning rose-leather. Very unique, sophisticated. Sort of a polished flirt.

Vanilla/Amber/Spice

  • Mona di Orio - For something more on the gourmand end, Vanille is pretty sophisticated and not at all sweet.
  • Papillon - Bengal Rouge is a lovely take on the Guerlain classic, Shalimar
  • Amouage - this house's older scents are the ultimate in opulence. Very old school, bombastic, complex. My faves are Jubilation, a luxe version of Rochas' Femme, Myths, a chilly floral, Epic and Interlude, both spicy iconoclasts, and the discontinued VII, so not the new one in the greyish bottle, dangerous, slinky oud

These are "feminine" suggestions, there are also many unisex scents to explore
