Perfume without a sprayer or rollerball

How do people use fragrance without a sprayer or rollerball?  I just purchased the Sephora brand crystal rollerball on sale, wondering if this might work?

If it doesn’t have an atomizer or roller, I hold the bottle against my wrist and tip it over once. Then rub my wrists together and while that are still wet dab them behind my ears. It usually applies just enough fragrance for me and you Don’t have to worry about transferring the juice to another bottle.
