Need help finding my boyfriend a Cologne

I know I know this is “Perfume Posse” I’m really hoping to get some advice for a cologne though and there are no active groups for that. Anyways, my boyfriend lives for sweet and citrus noted items. He use to own “Armani Code” before but he hasnt really experimented with scents before. I’m in search of something that would fall under “Armani Code” but something possibly deeper/sexier if possible. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!!

My boyfriend loves Sauvage by Dior. I'm not a scent expert but I'm pretty sure it has strong notes of citrus in it. Sephora gives pretty generous samples so you could always get some of different ones to test for him. Also, the sampler set is a good idea. He gets to test a bunch, pick out his favorite and get a full size bottle.

If you're looking for a sweet and citrusy leather, these come to mind:

Le Labo Santal 33 - a very popular fragrance with a gentle sweetness and hint of leather that could be layered with a citrus scent

Knize Ten - citrusy leather with a razor clean edge. This one is a classic but maybe too light?

L'Artisan Mure et Musc Cologne - citrus, blackberries and musk make for a cozy warmth.

Other scents that come to mind are Creed's Aventus which isn't citrusy but has a sweet pineapple note that might appeal. Histoires de Parfums might work. I recall the Hemingway and Jules Verne ones being citrusy and sweet.
