Hey! I have the rollerball of Lazy Sunday morning, and I LOVE IT! It's so light and fresh. Because it's so sophisticated and smooth, but also light and soft, you can wear it at a fancy dinner party or just to school/work. I recommend it! Also, the candles from this line are great. I also recommend Bamboo (Gucci)
I also LOVE this scent, but I find it fades too quickly. Especially for the price point! I've been searching for something similar for like a month, but LSM is unique. I can't find a replacement. I wish they'd make a parfume instead of the eau de toilette. I'm having a hard time justifying the additional purchase of a non-refillable rollerball 😞
Like others I'd highly recommend sampling first! As for whether they're worrh it, if you love it, that's what matters most 🙂
The Replica line is more unusual than some other designer fragrances that Sephora carries so that may also make it worth the price for you? However, I'll also note that the concepts behind its more unusual scents like the lipstick one have been done before by other houses at higher price points so they are not as unique as they may seem!
My favourite one is Promenade in the Gardens 🌹
Sephora REALLY should consider doing a collab with Maison Margiela for a large sampler kit! It could generate so much more interest in the brand, cause I know a lot of people don't want to commit to that price tag without being able to try out the line-- and so many of the products are SO GOOD! I'd easily shell out $20+ for some trial vials of the Replica line ❤️ I need a side-by-side/day-to-day comparison before purchasing.
yes, i agree with you on that one; i have not tried any Replicas yet;
i've reviewed all the replica line ingredients/mix/recipes (yep i like cooking and baking) and i find them to be somewhat of an enigmatic experiment (in an intriguing sort of way, all good people)...
a) two that stand out as a red-flag-waaaaat?! uh...oh my gosh..:
Tea Escape - osmanthus-milk-mate-bergamot......
Lipstick On - oh my allergies.... galbanum-heliotrope-iris ...
b) some that stand out as oh-yummy-must-try-this-one :
Across Sands , Flower Market , Dancing On the Moon (the wildest mix i have seen yet) ... very curious 🙂
Yes, Sephora, please try to get a discovery set....for xmas????
Hi @Animel !
Good news, we have a Margiela sampler set coming to the US and Canada! This is set to launch around April 🙂
Oh my goodness this is the best news ever! Thank you!
oh!!!! great, that was fast lol, can't wait
🙂
I really want to smell this one!
I love flower market. I've never bought a bottle. I feel the scents don't last long on me. By mid day my husband can't smell my perfume. For that price I would recommend jo Malone. No have to go to Nordstrom to smell it or wait till fall when sephora gets it
I love love love Beach Walk, I wear it virtually every day, but like you, I wasn't ready to splurge so much, so I just bought the roller ball. I absolutely love it and whenever I wear it, people ask what I am wearing. I totally recommend this scent.
@ccr14 I've given away many of these samples I got with online purchases and friends like them. I recommend looking at the free samples on sephora.com, b/c they are frequently available. The packaging is cute, too. Good luck!
It's definitely a splurge, but in my opinion totally worth it. The first time I smelled them in the store I was actually blown away by how much they actually smell like their description. For example "At the Barber's" smells SO much like barbasol and leather chairs. I got the "Flower Market" thats supposed to smell like a parisian flower market. As soon as I smelled it, it took me back to my semester abroad in Paris and I bought it immediately lol.
They also make rollerballs of a few scents (I have the beach walk one too), so you could always try it out before you buy a full size!
@ccr14 I personally feel that the MMM fragrances are worth the price.
MMM does an amazing job in replicating scents. The quality of their scents makes me feel like that they really did go out of their way to make sure that they go it right. You also have to keep in mind that everyone has different body chemistry and can work differently on others.
The scents are long lasting, especially the men's fragrances.
