Layering with Jo Malone

The last thread on Jo Malone was from almost a year ago, so I'll start a new one!

I've heard about JML for a few years, but never tried their fragrances or home products. Earlier this year I got some samples from Sephora, and I really enjoy layering Sea Salt and Wood Sage with one of my fruity/citrusy scents from Atelier Cologne to tone down the sweetness and give it slightly more depth.

What are you thoughts and recommendations among JML products? What is a must try? What didn't work for you? Which ones are good when layered together? Any scents to watch for, positively and negatively?

@alphagrid I do not layer scents very much and mostly stick with blending essential oils.

I like how you're using Sea Salt and Wood Sage! Citrus tends to blend easily with everything so I think a light veil of citrus is a safe way to start. I've also tried layering with Frederic Malle's Une Rose, it works quite well.
