I'm looking for a new perfume

Hello Everyone!!

I’m on the hunt for a new perfume and could really use your help. I’ve been living in a tropical climate for a while now, and I’ve found that my go-to woody scents don’t quite work in the heat.

I’m not really into sweet perfumes—vanilla and fruity notes just aren’t my thing. But I do love oriental-style fragrances with wood, musk, maybe a bit of spice—something that has depth and character but won’t feel overpowering or heavy in humid weather.

Any suggestions for a scent that strikes that balance? Something long-lasting but still light enough for the tropics?

Plur father figure!!

It’s a super fresh, woody, musky, androgynous perfume with a fig note but not fruity forward…I’ve taken it on tropical vacations so I think it definitely works in warm/humid weather…lingers really nicely without being overpowering.

Billie Eilish number 2 is my girlfriends favorite scent she has so far, although there are some woodiness like you described, it’s aromatic enough where I think it would be fine for warmer weather. She also loves Dolce and Gabanna light blue eau intense, which would be a little fruitier like you said you weren’t fond of, but I wouldn’t consider it overbearing at all. It smells like the beach, but without the saltiness in the men’s version.

Juliet Has a Gun Not a Perfume and Not a Perume Superdose are GREAT options. They are both musky, slightly spicy, and clean. (great for tropics, I wore them in Puerto Rico) If you are looking for something more close to the skin, I would go with Not a Perfume. However, if you are like me and enjoy PROJECTION and more woodyness, I would go with Not a Perfume Superdose!
