How to decant

I purchased some cute little decant atomizers so I could carry small amounts of my favourite perfumes in my purse for reapplication. They’re the kind where you remove the nozzle from your full size bottle, and to fill them you pump directly from the base of the atomizer. The problem is some of the spigots are flared, and I can’t “marry” the devices. I tried, and instead of filling my atomizer, the perfume just pooled out. How can I use my vials? Or is there another product I can use more successfully?
