First time signature scent recommendations

Hi, I'm looking to buy a fragrance for myself for the first time, and I'm looking for recommendations. In general I'm looking for a more unisex/androgynous scent. I know that this might sound pretty basic but I have a coworker who wears Santal 33, and I like it a lot except that I think it has a slight dill essence to it that I can't quite put my finger on. If anyone has any recommendations on any androgynous earthy/woodsy kind of scents, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Easy to wear earthy/woody scents

• Comme des Garcons excels in woody scents. The Monocle series are well regarded and there's the Wonderwood series. For a creamy, modern sandalwood, there's Concrete
• It's marketed to men, but Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver is a modern, highly versatile version of the grass. If you'd like a more classic take, Guerlain's Vetiver is excellent. For a smokier take, try Chanel's Sycomore
• L'Artisan Parfumeur's Premier Figuier is a groundbreaking unisex fig scent. You get all of the fig tree with green leaves, sap, fruit, earth.
• For literal earth, try Andrea Maack's Coven which is basically like clodfuls of moist, black earth but I wouldn't consider this a starter fragrance.
• Tauer's L`Air du Desert Marocain is not really earthy-woody. It's more arid spicy but give it a shot, it's gorgeous and expansive and you may like it.

Hi @claire721 I recommend trying these fragrances out the next time you're at Sephora. I personally prefer to go to the store when buying a fragrance.
