I just got this message from Sephora in regards to the event.

The SEPHORiA sessions on Friday and Saturday are scheduled to proceed as planned. The event has not been cancelled. We are monitoring the weather closely, and should any updates to the programming be impacted, we will issue an update on Thursday September 26th by 2 p.m. EST.

I emailed Sephora, and Sephoria is scheduled as planned for Saturday, as of 9/27/24 at 11:21 am eastern.

Heyy everyone, I saw on the website that the tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable

Last year, the first two sessions in New York were canceled on Friday due to a hurricane and the place flooding. They refunded all of the tickets for Friday, but did not mail any of the swag bags. Saturday went on as planned with no issues my flight from New York was canceled and now I'm driving down.

I am flying out from NY at 6am tomorrow morning. Hoping to make it down right now my flight is scheduled without delays. We shall see. I haven't received any notices from Sephoria about anything yet.

I’m here in Atlanta. Got here earlier today. A little rain. NOT a hurricane stop acting like it is the end of the world. Yes. I came a day early from New York City because my session is early on Friday, made sense. And I will be there tomorrow morning. The end.

Well, how did that work for you? What was the excuse when they told you it was canceled? Did they tell you to calm down?

Governor Brian Kemp has declared a state of emergency and implored people to "take it seriously".  For those of us traveling in the morning, we may or may not be able to fly in and, once there, maybe we can't all get out.  Sounds pretty serious to me.

I attempted to fly out today from the DMV and my flight was canceled. There are no other options to fly out before my session on Saturday. I don’t think anyone is complaining without reason. This is being handled horribly.

Just wait till tmrw. You won’t be attending because it will likely get cancelled. Its not just “a little rain” it’s flooding, wind, and power outages.

My flight from Tampa got cancelled so now I’m having to hope/risk Orlando will be flying tomorrow. I emailed them asking if my ticket could get moved to Saturday in case I can’t get to my Friday pm session. No reply yet. Super disappointing.

I got their 2pm update, which literally just said we'll give you another update later tonight.

I have a feeling they're going to cancel 11am session and are just dragging their feet about because $$$.

I mean I don’t see how any of us are going to get there regardless like whether you live in GA or not you still have to travel. They can not be that ignorant to think people can get there Friday or Saturday for that matter with a whole hurricane coming in. And I agree with you it’s all about the money because why else would you not update all of us on what’s going on or not even bother to respond. It’s ridiculous I will never do this again. It shows how careless they are as a whole it’s absolutely ridiculous.

Exactly! I was really excited to go, but it's not worth risking my safety or that of the other guests and staff. Sephora said our safety is their "number one priority", but the fact they will not automatically cancel the event during AN ACTIVE STATE OF EMERGENCY shows that they don't care about anything but keeping our money.

Hi, I received the same update. I don’t understand why we’re not receiving any updates from Sephora when there is a major hurricane affecting most of all the Florida and nearly most of Georgia. It is also going to affect the area where the Sephora event is being hosted many customers are not gonna be able to fly in and if there are any influencers or paid Individuals to be at this event. I’m wondering if they are being affected by flight cancellations
