Hi everyone! This is a thread to share your experiences at store openings and events. There’s nothing quite like going to a brand new store with fully stocked shelves, clean testers, and sometimes...giveaways 😉  Share it all here!

@SportyGirly125 It really was!! I am very fortunate that Sephora hosted two events that I was able to attend during the half year I spent in London 😌

@SportyGirly125 Yes, I was doing my master's there, since there were two terms in London. Actually, I spent the first 3 months hating London, and the last 3 months thinking it was tolerable after discovering their international food scene (which, IMO is much better than fish and chips) 😂👌

@Guessgal @How cool. I always wanted to study abroad. I had friends and my husband do it in different countries. 

when I visited London in 2014 it wasn’t my fav but I could live in Ireland.

@SportyGirly125 Oh really?!? What do you enjoy most about Ireland? I was on vacation in Belfast and Dublin two weeks ago! If I had known, I would’ve asked you for recs! 😳😪

@Guessgal @The last time I was in Ireland was in 2014 with my husband before I had kids. We did a Game of Thrones tour in Belfast We loved the scenery and the food.

Woooow, what an awesome recap @Guessgal! You know I was in London late last year and I'm jealous the timing didn't match up for me to visit Sephora across the pond on that trip 😅 One day!

The Danessa Myricks masterclass sounds like it was so fun! That pink shadow on the model is gorge.

@GeorginaBT Yaaaay I'm glad you enjoyed reading it! Oh yes, I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities for you to visit one day, as I heard they are planning to open additional Sephora locations in London soon 😉 If we're lucky, maybe there will be tons of Sephoras scattered across the city like how it is in Paris 😂

Oh yes!! The shadows were beautiful - Danessa Myricks actually mentioned during the masterclass that Lightworks IV was sold out in most places, but available in the UK only bc they had just launched. Although, if history repeats itself, I'm sure they'll sell like hot cakes over there too!

I had the pleasure of going to the store opening for The Highlands at Flower Mound today and had such a great time! I found it about the event through an email invite:

 

The store opened at 10am, but I wasn’t able to arrive until 1pm. I was worried that the limited edition totes and giveaways would be long gone by then, but got lucky that they had plenty of it in stock! 

 

Upon arriving I was handed a shopping basket with a special scratch off card inside. It was a fun experience to see what I would get, and it technically was no purchase necessary- but you know I wasn’t going to leave empty handed 😂 

I had a long list of items ready to go in my phone, and the associated helped me get every single one. They were so sweet! I felt bad because they had to grab a couple of the items from the back as they weren’t on the floor yet.  

Don’t worry, I had a mask on!! I just took it off for a quick pic. 

I also met some great brand reps from Too Faced and Benefit, two of my OG fave brands! 

Overall I left the store with everything I wanted, including the elusive Sun Safety Kit that sold out sooo fast online once the sale started.
