Sephora + Coachella

A few weeks back, I was lucky enough to head to Indio, CA for my first-ever Coachella experience! I have pondered going with friends for a few years now and always found an excuse to bail - I couldn't justify the cost, time off or simply wanted to be a homebody (big crowds aren't my favorite). Well this year I finally attended and am happy I did! I had the time of my life jamming out to some of my favorite artists, eating lots of yummy food, checking out this year's trendy Coachella styles and hanging out at the Sephora tent! 

In case you missed it, Sephora was at Coachella in full-force with an incredible, drool-worthy experience. You better bet I took a (long) break from the heat to check out the Sephora tent and snapped plenty of pictures to show all of you. The set up was adorable (like everything else at the festival) and the “booth” looked like the beauty experience of my dreams. Onto the inside!

As I walked in I was transported into a beauty wonderland. The tent featured multiple brand experiences and the most gorgeous, Instagrmamable décor I’ve seen in a long time. Sephora Collection was front and center with glitter tattoo application and DIY metallic lip stations featuring their new Sephora Lip Creams. I opted for a metallic ombre lip, of course and you can bet it lasted through the last act of the night.

On each side of the tent festival goers lined up to get their hair done by two of our brands, IGK and Bumble & bumble. IGK was creating space buns and used Foamo Holographic Hair Foam as the finishing touch, of course! Let’s just say that I had serious hair envy… They used hair color application brushes you’d find at your salon, which I thought was the perfect way to apply this pigmented, glitter-filled product!

Galaxy hair headbandOn the other side of the tent. Bumble & bumble was getting everyone set up with galaxy hair! If you don’t know what galaxy hair is you aren’t alone but just know that this is my new favorite festival hair look! After Bumble styled and refreshed everyone’s looks with Pret-a-Powder Tres Invisible Dry Shampoo and Thickening Dryspun Finish Volume Spray they added sparkling “galaxy” lights to finish the look. Many opted into having the lights braided into their hair or, for those with styled hair, many also used the lights as a headband. This is what I opted for and the lights were so much fun once the sun set.

 Hush DIY Prism Spray

Finally, for those who didn’t want a styled look but still wanted to get their Coachella hair we had a Hush DIY style bar featuring every color of their Prism Airbrush Spray. I was wearing pink so I opted for pink strands, of course!

@KatieBT Ooooh thanks for sharing Katie this looks like it would have been AWESOME! : ) I bought the teal prism colour a couple weeks ago and I've been a bit shy to actually try it out but now that I see all pretty colourful pastel hair I might just have to try it out alongside some of my other/new sparkly sale goodies! : ) Tent looks great btw!!! : )

@RoseCharlie don't be shy with the prism spray! Maybe start out subtle though 🙂  The tent was incredible I hope we will have another installment next year ❤️
