moisturizer and exfoliating

I have supper flaky dry skin . it's the worst on my nose and check area . I am in need of am amazing moisturizer and exfoliator ( I've heard that exfoliating is really good to do) HELPPP!!!!

My new discovery is the facial pads of first aid beauty for exfoliating. It goes very gentle (plus you can use it as a makeup remover)  and it make go away all the flakyness in my face !!

Dry skin is frustrating. The most helpful things I've done are to 1. exfoliate (I love the Kate Somerville exfolikate daily cleanser) 2. use a serum with hyaluronic acid. This actually helps skin cells to absorb water. 3. A good moisturizer, I use Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator, and so far I like it and think it's more hydrating than other formulas I've tried. I also like masks, and have used the Blue Tansy by herbivore which is a resurfacing mask and helps with patchiness and flakiness. Stay away from products intended to treat acne , these are drying, also products with charcoal. Be aware of face oils, I feel my skin feels drier after I use a lot of oils. This doesn't seem to be the case for everyone, but I prefer to avoid them.

I looked into different skin care systems for days and Dr. Jart really stuck out as something gentle and helpful for my dry skin. I keep reading great reviews on the Kate Somerville exfoliator so I’m excited to try that one 🙂
