hydrating toner and cleanser

Hello! I have dry, sensitive skin and am looking for a really good hydrating toner/essence and a really hydrating facial cleanser. Any suggestions ? there are so many options

@Alex12218  I have mostly dry combo skin that’s sensitive to certain ingredients, including rosewater. If you know what you’re sensitive to, always scan ingredient lists for those items—and also look for hydrating and moisturizing ingredients. That’ll help you narrow the field of cleansers and toners. 

My skin loves e.l.f. Hydrating Water Essence. It’s a toner/essence hybrid that’s alcohol-free and loaded with hydrating/moisturizing ingredients: glycerin, niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, sodium pca, trehalose, carrageenan, coconut water, and urea. It does contain added fragrance but it’s the last item on the ingredients list, and apparently it’s not one that irritates my face. Bonus: this toner/essence costs $10 USD. 

I use Paula’s Choice cleansers. I’d recommend their Hydralight cleanser (my fave in the morning), but you might do better with their RESIST Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser which has a creamy lotion texture. They make other cleansers specifically for dry skin, like Moisture Boost One Step and a few others; at their site, look for dry skin cleansers to see which one might work. They sell travel sizes and/or foil samples of many cleansers so you don’t have to commit to a full size right away. 

Freah Soy Face Cleanser is another option that may work well for you. It’s got some great moisturizing ingredients. I can’t use it because it also contains both rose water and rose oil (not rose hip oil—that one’s good), along with something else that irritates my face. ☹️ Your mileage may vary, of course.

Tatcha The Essence Skincare Boosting Treatment 5.1 oz/ 150 mL

Origins Checks and Balances™ Frothy Face Wash 5 oz/ 150 mL not really hydrating but it doesn’t dry out my dry/combo skin

Lancôme rose toner. I like the tsubaki oil cleanser by boscia. It’s only sold on Boscias site.

If you have dry skin, I recommend the fresh Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Toner 8.4 oz/ 250 mL .

It is one of the most hydrating toners on the market and it has a lovely floral scent.

For a hydrating cleanser, look for a milky or cream cleanser. I really like the Clarins Cleansing Milk with Alpine Herbs 6.9 oz/ 200 mL .

Another great pick is the FRESH - Soy Face Cleanser. It's a lightweight cleanser that's really gentle on the skin.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've heard of the Fresh toner but not the Clarins cleanser ! I'll be sure to check them out 🙂
