What is the best liquid foundation

I'm kind of new to fancy makeup, I have always just used drug store makeup. I'm really looking for a liquid foundation that has really full coverage. My skin is dry but really red and dry around my nose where it is flaky. I always moisturize before my routine. I have bought the new Fenty by Rihanna, but I don't like it. It makes my skin even more dry and does not last and is too thick. I'm just looking for the best liquid foundation for my skin that's full coverage, any advice or comments help!!

It sounds like we have really similar skin! Around my nose get insanely red and dry and the rest of my face is dry, so I was searching for a foundation for a while. I tried Fenty too and it didn’t work, Tarte didn’t work but Born this Way by Too Faced is amazing! I use it after the Hangover primer and it’s the best! I would say it’s more medium-full buildable coverage but it looks amazing, natural and feels comfortable on the skin. If you want tips on clearing up the redness around your nose let me know, mine is almost healed after switching to Dr. Jart+ skincare. Hope this helps!

I love Urban Decay Naked Weightless Ultra Definition. It is lightweight but totally buildable coverage. For something heavier, I would try the new BareMinerals liquid foundation.

I’ve seen many reviews on YouTube about the Fenty foundation and they have definitely warned people with dry skin to stay clear because it clings on to dryness/dry patches. I recommend the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation! I love it and I have dry skin. It has medium coverage, but it's buildable. However, it’s definitely pricey. You should use a green color corrector on the red areas of your face and try using a hydrating primer around your nose before applying foundation. Hope this was helpful!

Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation is pricey but it is a good full coverage foundation for dry skin.  It contains water and aloe, which are known for their hydrating properties.  I use the Chantecaille one every once in a while, more for evenings out or special occasions and prefer Too Faced Born This Way Foundation more frequently.  The Too Faced foundation is also very hydrating, having coconut water as one of its primary ingredients.  It's not quite full coverage but like @loughmal posted, I think you could probably build it up to full coverage.  Both foundations work well under Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Primer which gives more hydration to the skin and preps it for makeup.

I love the too faced born this way foundation. I have really dry skin and the ingredients in this foundation is perfect for that! It gives a medium coverage but you can build it to full coverage. Makes me skin look so nice and like it has a natural healthy glow!

I really like the Josie Maran vibrancy foundation, it has a very dewy finish, but is full coverage. I would say it is high medium coverage, some might consider it full. If you want a more matte foundation the Jouer essential high coverage creme foundation looks very interesting to me (I haven't tried it yet). It has hyaluronic acid so is probably hydrating.
