Patchy uneven foundation

Every time I put on my make up it is always patchy. I don’t know if it’s my primer, foundation, skin care, or something else. I wash my face with cleanser, tone my skin, Put on moisturizing gel, then apply my elf poreless putty primer to prime for my foundation. I have been using make up revolution concealer and define foundation for years and it’s always patchy, but I stick to it because I don’t know what else to use. What is it that I’m doing wrong? Any advice would be very appreciated 🙂

@madisonmouse It could be so many things.  If your makeup is looking patchy your skin is probably not getting enough moisture/hydraton.  I would spray a hydrating facial mist like Caudalie Beauty Elixir or Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist before applying your makeup.  It could also be the makeup you are using isn't suited for your skin type and your primer.

My foundation tends to be patchy if i don’t blend quick enough or my foundation is matte they tend to be more drying. You could also try using a more hydrating moisturizer instead of a gel moisturizer. good luck:)
