Patchy concealer

Hi!! I desperately need help!! Since I have dry skin, I moisturize a lot and mix my foundation with jojoba oil, apply it and then apply concealer. For concealer, I go in with a brush and then everytime I try to blend using a damp beauty blender, it looks like the foundation and concealer have meshed together and it removes big patches of makeup off my face!!! Same when I try to set my undereye with powder using a wet beauty blender. I've tried different concealers with different foundations but this always happens!! . What I am doing wrong?!?!

Re: Patchy concealer

I would decrease the amount of jojoba oil you use and see if that helps. It almost sounds like the jojoba oil might be making the foundation "too wet", so when you put anything on top of it, it does not stick. I use foundation but sometimes avoid applying it under my eyes. Instead I use  NARS Soft Matte Complete Full Coverage Longwear Concealer Biscuit and blend that into my skin, then apply Sephora's liquid concealer on top. and finally set it with LAURA MERCIER - Translucent Loose Setting Powder - Translucent!Hope this helps!

Re: Patchy concealer

Everything may not be meshing together well. Have you tried using an eye cream to prep the undereye area? And also not applying the foundation to that area, but just the concealer?
