Okay guys, just got this PTR 20% Glycolic peel and I am really excited to try it but... kinda afraid bc I have never tried any chemical exfoliators like everrr. So, I dont want to break out or burn my skin like I see so many ppl saying in the product reviews. 

Any suggestions on what product I can use to calm down the reaction, if any.

Like any cooling masks or moisturizers?

If you've never used a chemical exfoliant before, I'd seriously recommend starting with something lighter. I know my skin can take 20% so it wouldn't be a problem for me, but jumping in at the high end of the scale is no joke and I would never recommend that product to a complete novice. 

10% is actually the max recommended for home use (by the FDA, I think? Some govt agency lol), though it's not a true rule or regulation. I'd recommend taking a step back with a lower potency product, and working up slowly to 20% if you feel your skin needs more. 

FAB Facial Radiance Pads would be a good starter IMHO.
