Need Advice on Dermalogica Moisturizers ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

Hi everyone,

Iโ€™m thinking about trying a new moisturizer from Dermalogica but Iโ€™m feeling a little overwhelmed by all the options. Iโ€™ve been looking at the Skin Smoothing Cream, Active Moist, Intensive Moisture Balance, and Calm Water Gel, but Iโ€™m not sure which one would actually work best for me.

My skin leans on the dry side and sometimes gets a bit sensitive, so Iโ€™m really hoping to find something that keeps me hydrated all day without feeling heavy or greasy. If it can also help calm irritation, that would be amazing.

If youโ€™ve used any of these, Iโ€™d love to hear your experience. Did it make your skin feel more hydrated? Softer? Calmer? Iโ€™d really appreciate any personal insights to help me figure out which one to try.

Thanks so much ๐Ÿ’™

I also need a recomendation. I have been wanting to change my cream for a long time and try something new for myself but I don't want to change to something worse. I recently read about Skin Vitality and remembered that I have long wanted to visit a dermatologist. And in general I would also like to go for some cosmetic procedures but as far as I know some of them are quite painful

Hi, @andreanguyenn !  I haven't used any of the Dermalogica moisturizers.  I do use the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant โ€” Salicylic Acid Powder Exfoliator for Pores, Spots & Uneven Skin Ton... , but it's not the same. ๐Ÿ˜  Anyway, looking at your choices for sensitive, dry skin, I recommend:

- Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance Moisturizer.  This has cica asiatica, Hyaluronic Acid, ceramides, and aloe.

- #Dermalogica Calm Water Gel Moisturizer 1.7 oz/ 50 mL.  This has aloe and cactus pear, but it also has lavender which can be an irritant for some people.

Both have short ingredient lists and minimal herbs, extracts, and citrus, which can be skin irritants.

Other moisturizers to consider if they don't need to be Dermalogica, are

- Tatcha The Water Cream Oil-Free Pore Minimizing Refillable Moisturizer 2.5 oz / 75 mL  Although I have combo/oily skin, but drier in the winter.

- Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Refillable Moisturizer 2.5 oz / 75 ml. A Community fave among those with dry skin.

Thank you! I actually have been using the Dermalogica intensive moisture balance which has been great for my skin.
