Good moisturizer for sensitive dry skin?

Even days I don't wear any makeup at all, my nose is flaking off dry, dead skin. I have sensitive skin as well. Any suggestions?

I strongly recommend FAB! First Aid Beauty has great products that are all made for sensitive skin!

Hiya,

I use Kiehls Ultra Facial cream because I have super sensitive dry skin as well, and I love it. My sister who has flaking skin uses it as well and it helped alot for her, too.

I use the Clinique Moisture Surge Intense! I used to have really dry skin on my face as well, especially in the winter. There's also the Clinique Moisture Surge, but I find that the Intense one is super moisturizing and my skin definitely feels a lot more hydrated after I use it, I'm already on my second jar! You could also ask for samples in store to compare the two before you buy!

I agree with the post below, if your skin is flaking then you should exfoliate to get rid of that flaky skin and have a smooth surface. I use the AMOREPACIFIC treatment enzyme peel. It's a bit pricey but it has lasted me a year and I have half of the product left, using it every day, and it is so gentle yet efficient. Then, I would use the belif true cream moisturizing bomb. It is so rich and moisturizes so well!

@greeneyegal  Sorry you have to deal with that!  It seems like there's always one part of the face that won't play nicely with the others. 🙂

I was wondering if you exfoliate at all.  That might help with the flaking skin.  I know it's time for me to exfoliate when my nose doesn't feel smooth anymore, and feels kind of bumpy.

Tatcha's Rice Enzyme powder is good for a quick fix; it combines physical and chemical exfoliating, but is pretty gentle.  Especially if you get the Gentle or Soothing variety.  And, if you combine it with their Camellia Cleansing oil, (mix them together in your hands and use as a cleanser,) you'll get additional moisture.

Tatcha's Luminous Dewy Skin Mist makes my skin feel smooth.  It has a lot of good soothing, moisturizing ingredients in it.  I'm not a fan of sprays, because I'm clumsy, but even spraying this on my hands and then patting my face is still an effective way to apply this product.

I use a lot of different products, but I can usually count on Biossance's Rose and Vitamin C oil to pep up my skin and moisturize it, on top of a serum.  I hope you find something that works.

I second the First Aid Beauty recommendation, but avoid their cream which has eucalyptus oil in it. Smells nice, but it hurt my poor face so bad! Overall, l would recommend fragrance free products. Cerave is a great drugstore brand although you'll need a titanium dioxide/zinc oxidize sunscreen for everyday use. It Cosmetics has a great new one that's SPF 50.

First Aid Beauty has amazing moisturizers! If not that Keihls is good too.
