Full coverage for dry skin

I’m looking for a full coverage foundation- I have dry to normal skin & have larger pores on my cheeks & close to my nose. I feel like I have tried so many foundations & no luck. I do have sensitive skin. Can anyone recommend one?

Re: Full coverage for dry skin

@jlrossy a really amazing full coverage foundation that is both sensitive skin friendly and minimizes pores is a cream foundation by RCMA.  The RCMA foundation/concealer palette VK is a go to. You need very very little product to cover your entire face and the result is gorgeous and skin like.  The pans in the palette appear small but they last forever! You can also buy disks of your specific shade but the palette is a wonderful place to start cause you can use the many shades to contour and find your perfect shade.
larger pore can be mitigated with a blurring finishing product like Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer or a light diffusing finishing powder.

Re: Full coverage for dry skin

@jlrossy, what foundations have you tried? Also, do you have an idea as to what triggers your sensitive skin? Fragrance? A particular ingredient? If not, it's fine; just trying to get an idea of what would be best to avoid.

Re: Full coverage for dry skin

I’ve tried Laura Mercier, Dior & HD Makeup for ever & thought the coverage was too light. Charlotte Tillbury I got a rash on my face. Thanks!

Re: Full coverage for dry skin

This is very helpful; thank you @jlrossy. So sorry the CT irritated your skin. ☹️ Off the top of my head, these are a few full coverage foundations you might want to consider (prices are based on full size product; some of the foundations are available in mini sizes).

Under $25:

  • NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop

$25 - $50:

Over $50

There's also ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr Turn Up the Base Full Beat Waterproof Liquid Foundation - I've only tried a sample of it. If there is a store near you that carries one or more of these, it'd be great if you can go in to test the formulation in person and maybe get a sample of some shades to take home to try. I feel like these give a good blurring effect, but I also use a primer and/or setting spray that helps with that. Hope you are able to find one that is what you are looking for.
