Hi - trying to decide between the Haus Labs foundation or Makeup by Mario. Has anyone tried them on their dry skin?

Hi there! Either of these foundations will work great for dry skin. My personal preference is the Haus Labs, the shade range is exceptional and it's long wearing and moisturizing at the same time. Both wear well but have different finishes. For reference, I have dry, mature skin.

I love the Haus Labs Tri-clone Foundation on my dry skin. I have 2 shades in it which is rare for me. I wanted to love the Makeup by Mario Foundation but ##1 I think the shades are horrible !!! I'm a Fair-Light neutral skin tone and was suggested 3W but it was way too warm. 2n was the closest but a little too light and 5n was way too dark. #2 I didn't like how it looked on my skin. I Sooooooo wanted to love it especially since I'm dry and everyone was saying how great it would be for dry skin types. I put a couple of swatches on the back of my hand and WOW it intensified the texture on my hand. It was crazy. It looked the same on my face. So it's a no go for me. 

Haus Labs Foundation is much better in my opinion.

I am in LOVE with the Haus Labs Triclone foundation!! I'm considering purchasing the white shade because the one I have is more geared to a late summer early fall shade. My skin looks and feels so good in this foundation, now if they could come out with an equally awesome concealer for thirsty under eyes, I'd be in heaven!

They are both great choices @alexandra598. I’ve only tried Haus Labs and I wore it comfortably for a full day without any dryness after. I also have very sensitive skin and didn’t have any irritation or redness after. I’ve heard really great things about Makeup by Mario though, so I may give it a try in the future. I’ve been told by a friend that works at Sephora that it was formulated with skincare in mind.
