Dry nose

So I'm having an issue no matter how much I moisturizer my skin at night and in the morning right now my skin is so dry. Particularly my nose after I apply makeup. This happens to me when the seasons change sometimes but usually I can just use some coconut oil and it stops. Right now nothing is working. Please help!

Re: Dry nose

Over the past 3 years my nose has gotten extremely red, dry and flakey which made it impossible to have foundation on without it looking uneven and cakey. I started using the Ceramidin cream and Tiger grass by Dr. Jart+ alternating between the two. I would literally apply it whenever I remembered to and within 2 weeks my skin was normal. Now I only use the Ceramidin cream at night and my skin has stayed happy. The Ceramidin line specifically targets dryness without irritating sensitive skin, it’s very soothing and comfortable. Hope this helps!

Re: Dry nose

Agree @bakeamuffin, the Ceramidin line is great! The Ceramidin Cream is going to get my face through this cold winter. 😉

@Sunshine9308, Dr. Jart+ has great products, especially for dry skin. For areas where I am more dry or experience dry patches or redness, I'll apply a hydrating serum (Ceramidin Liquid) underneath the Ceramidin Cream - works wonders!

Re: Dry nose

This ALWAYS happens to me! I met with my dermatologist and primary care doctor because it was getting so dry... They both recommended a cream instead of a lotion (specifically CeraVe Moisturizing Cream). Also, apply it when your skin is a little moist and not completely dry, because your pores will be open and soak it all up. This has worked miracles on me! Sometimes if I am feeling a little cray, I apply some Aquaphor when I lay down to go to bed as well.

Hope this helps Girly!

Re: Dry nose

@Sunshine9308 I was tipped off by the beauty studio to use hydrating eye cream or night cream on the area morning and night and it helps a ton, try to avoid ones with treatments like retinol, etc. I also use dr. Jart tiger grass cream, both that and an eye cream have helped keep mine in check even during my couple sinus infections where I was constantly using tissues and got chapped open bad. If you have sinus issues a sinus rinse may help the gunk from running down and irritating the sensitive skin too.

Re: Dry nose

How much water do you typically drink in a 24 hour time period?
